Visiting Professor Directorate has been formed on the initiative and guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Diwan S. Rawat to provide services of external subject experts to the students and to promote research. The quality of research depends on the development of trained researchers associated with it. Therefore, Directorate of Visiting Professors has been formed with the objective of providing a platform to the students for research internships, capacity building programs and workshops.

Visiting/emeritus professorship will be offered through the directorate where foreign educators, professors, and industry professionals will be invited, while Indian professors, civil servants, judges, security personnel, etc., will be offered visiting professorships.

The university has made provision for separate funding for this. This initiative of Vice Chancellor Prof. Diwan Singh Rawat will not only increase academic and research cooperation, but will also bring out many new ideas of creative thinking and innovation skills.
